Luscious Lavender Facial Cleanser and Makeup Remover

After listening to Abraham Hicks, I decided that I could and would clear up my skin through the power of thought and stop working so hard to get rid of the acne spots. I trusted that anything I would need to do or buy, I would be inspired to it. Part of that process was relaxing and finding things to appreciate about my skin as it was. As I was doing that, I realized that most of the total surface of my skin on my whole body is already clear and free of acne, it was only my face that was the issue and there was no reason for my face to be any less clear than the skin on my body and I appreciated the clearness of the skin on the rest of my body. Once I realized all of that, I was inspired to begin treating my face skin the same as my body skin. I realized that for my body skin, I only use soap on my underarms and pubic area in my daily shower and follow that up with a mixture of cocoa butter and coconut oil and I exfoliate with a kessa mitt once a week. So taking that approach over to my face, I stopped using a harsh walnut scrub from another brand to wash my face every day and just let my face be. I was being much more gentle with my body skin and it was clearer than my face to I decided to be gentle on my face as well. Taking a gentle approach was how I was inspired to use a "cold cream" type of product because I love vintage beauty and I think cold creams are just so luxurious and glamorous and gentle and I love the idea of "babying" my skin and treating it softly and delicately. And that is how I came to this product! I love this cold cream by TANF and I'm so grateful to Crystal and her team for making it. Thank you! It is so gentle but it even removed my Kat Von D Super Pomade which is a heavy-duty silicone-based waterproof gel eyeliner in a pot. That stuff is no joke to take off and this cream cleanser removed it easily and gently with no drying! Let me tell you- if this cleanser can remove the Super Pomade, it can remove anything! I like to use this in the evenings and cleanse twice with this cream cleanser for days with little to no makeup and three times for removing heavy-duty eye makeup. I simply apply this to dry skin, rinse, apply again, rinse, and again a third time for getting off heavy makeup. A little goes a long way with this product and I can't wait to get more! It is so, so gentle on my skin that even after cleansing 3 times with it, my skin is still soft and moisturized and never dry. Then I will follow with a few drops of jojoba oil to really seal in the moisture. I don't do anything to my face in the mornings because I wash my body skin once a day so I decided my face skin only needed to be washed once a day as well. And yes, my skin is clear now and it took less than a month since I started being more gentle with my face and using this cleanser! Mine is more fluid and liquid than what is shown in the picture and I can easily pour it from the jar into my palm so I don't have to dip my fingers in it. I think for my next jar I will transfer it into a pump-style bottle. Oh and I like to mix in the ANF Dead Sea Salt and Coconut Milk scrub into this cleanser and exfoliate that way or I will use an ultra-fine soapnut powder mixed into this cleanser and exfoliate only twice a week or whenever I'm inspired to exfoliate. Fans of cream style cleansers will love this. I bought the lavender version, and it has a nice, mild scent. It does a fairly good job removing my makeup, but I do usually have a small amount remaining on my skin when I follow cleansing with a toner. Still, it’s extremely gentle and non-drying. While my combo skin usually needs a deeper cleanse, I find myself reaching for this at least once a week because I really like the application and how soft my skin feels afterward.

This stuff is the bomb...it works as well as the Sweet Jasmine one, but I don't like the lavender scent as much. So, I will stick with that one going forward.

I've been using this product for years and absolutely love it! I'm 65 years old and wouldn't use any other product to cleanse my face, and my skin is very smooth and wrinkle free thanks to its gentle but effectiveness. I use the Jasmine version also and love it too!

Just feels so gentle as a cleanser for your face, yet makes your face feel clean & pampered.

I love love LOVE this product! My skin feels hydrated, its never been softer. I get the sense that I'm building, nourishing, loving my skin when using this cream. I won't use another method for makeup removal or cleansing again.

This is her best face wash I've ever used. I will never use anything else again
