I stopped using soap on my hair a couple of years ago. Why? Your hair has a natural ph of 5, soap has a ph of 10, so every time you put shampoo on your hair you are stripping it of its natural ph. Your hair is not alive, therefore it cannot correct its own ph. Then you strip it, dye it, curl it, and blow dry it. Think about it. how many folks have a gorgeous head of hair when they get older? How many young people do? Now mind you, I am an old soap maker. I make and use soap, just on stinky places, and not my face and hair. I also don't dye my hair with chemicals. I use henna, which actually improves your hairs condition. I will be introducing a full henna line of many colors and a lot more hair teas as well.

This tea is my personal favorite, I developed it after researching hair for quite some time. My husband came to me not too long ago because his hair, which is quite long, was starting to fall out and lose its luster. I developed this for him. Within days his hair was fuller, and more vibrant. Now it is back to the way it was before it started going downhill.

Each of the bags holds enough herbs to make one full gallon of tea.

    Hair feels great!

Was a little skeptical about using tea on my hair, but was curious at the same time. So glad I tried it! My hair feels and looks amazing! It used to be on the dry side and a little frizzy. Now it just looks healthy!

    its alright

It cleans decently and I can tell it doesn't strip my hair at all. The overall health of my hair has improved. But... It doesn't condition at all and my hair was falling out for some reason. I chalk it up to it not conditioning enough, but I'm not sure. I would use the leave in conditioner on this site, but my hair is thin and I don't want to weigh it down. I tried an AVC rinse which helps and I continue to do occasionally but it still doesnt have enough conditioning. I need to have that creamy conditioner, otherwise my thin fragile hair gets ripped out and broken off :( still looking for this kind of solution...

    Really awesome

This is the only thing to use on your hair. Really livens up your style and leaves your hair full of body. Be sure to mention that you want the large tea bags though. The small ones aren't really enough.

    Nice alternative to shampoo.

I've been dealing with excessive hair shedding , even with using all organic hair products. I have used the hair tea for about three months and really like it, in fact shampoo seems too harsh now. It smells earthy but the scent does not remain after rinsing. I make a full batch and leave it in the frig to use as needed, my only complaint with that process being that putting cold liquid on your head isn't very pleasant.

    Wonderful product

I've struggled with thin fine hair my whole life. I decided to give the hair tea a try and use it every other to every two days between regular shampoos with a low sulfate shampoo. My hair is healthier and fuller. I won't ever stop using it.

Like the product but may not match my hair type.

I have fine hair with a wavy texture to it and I had been using a very mild BS and ACV solution for a while so I figured I'd give this a try. Plus I was used to and actually enjoyed the lather free feeling while washing. The first wash with this felt great. I loved the feeling, the smell, and it left my hair feeling soft. After the second wash however I noticed a build up of natural oils on my scalp. I may need a clarifying shampoo or maybe the hair tea just doesnt suit my hair type but a bit of BS solution helped.

    Great alternative!

This tea is amazing at cleaning your hair and making it soft! The tea smells really good, and it really does clean your hair without damaging it. Paired with the vinegar rinse, this makes the perfect alternative to mainstream shampoo products.
